I was born and raised in the Tulsa metro area and as far back as I can remember I knew that I wanted to be in healthcare. As I learned more about healthcare and all of the intricate pieces, I knew that nursing would bring me the most joy and fulfillment. I attended The University of Tulsa and received my bachelors of science in nursing in 2003 and then went to work in Labor and Delivery at St. Francis Hospital. I absolutely loved getting to know each of my patients and I was blessed to be a part of their transition into parenthood. I wanted to be more autonomous in my nursing practice so I attended nurse practitioner school at The George Washington University where I obtained my masters of nursing in 2010.
Upon graduating NP school I went to work for a private practice Ob/Gyn office where I truly felt like I was able to make a difference in caring for women. I have been a nurse practitioner for 11 years and for the last 2 years have been home with my children. I have an amazing, supportive husband and two handsome little men in my life that love and support me everyday. I wouldn’t be where I am today without my family.
I want to personally welcome you to the Magnolia Health family!"
I practice what I preach in health and wellness, and have a passion in sharing this knowledge with my patients. I believe it’s important to have goals and dreams. I want to help you set goals and dreams; and then, when you achieve your goals and dreams I want celebrate them with you. I believe in investing your time, attention, energy, and hard work in to being the best version of you. I’ll be there to encourage you every step of the way. I believe in differences and know this is what makes it so amazing to get to know the real you. Let’s celebrate our differences- I know we can learn from one another.
I believe in kindness and choosing to see the best in people and that even the smallest gesture of kindness can change someone’s life in the very best way. This is what makes the world such an amazing place to be. When you come to Magnolia Health I want you to feel like my friend or family. Here you can be vulnerable, live your truth, and be authentic. Believe in whatever it is that makes you feel confident because I believe “you’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.” —Christopher Robin
